Next Ministries is concerned about your physical and spiritual wellbeing. In recent days concerns around COVID-19 has led to President Trump pronouncing a national emergency, Governor Pritzker ordering the closure of all K-12 schools across the state, Mayor Lightfoot requesting that crowd sizes be reduced and events be cancelled to contain the spread of COVID-19, and area businesses having their employees work remotely from home. While fears and concerns are heightened, it is in times like this the spiritual leadership of the church is needed most. We are the beacons of hope and calm in the midst of the storm. The good news is technology allows us to stay connected as a growing community together.
Next Ministries in response to the current pandemic will be moving to virtual worship services to meet your spiritual needs. We will start having virtual worship services beginning Sunday March 15th, which will be accessible through our Facebook Page and YouTube Channel. We will also begin posting daily spiritual encouragements on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to help you keep your faith strong during this time of uncertainty. We are here for you. Feel free to reach out to us. You can easily send your concerns and prayer requests by messaging us through Facebook, Twitter, and emailing us on our Contact Us page on our website.
While we are disappointed to be cancelling our Easter Egg Hunt and postponing our Rooted Group it is out of concern for the safety of all. During this time, we realize that we are all bombarded by news and communications about COVID-19. Please use the primary sources for your up to date and accurate information concerning this pandemic.
Live under the protection of God Most High and stay in the shadow of God All-Powerful. Then you will say to the Lord , “You are my fortress, my place of safety; you are my God, and I trust you.”
Psalms 91:1-2 CEV
I look forward to seeing and connecting with you soon.
Yours in Christ,
